I offer clinical consultations to mental health practitioners around working with individuals recovering from systemic abuse, undue influence, and cultic experiences. Survivors who have experienced relational trauma from those in positions of power and/or trust inevitably bring the scripts created by those experiences with them into therapy. As a result, the therapeutic relationship is especially important to healing and, simultaneously, susceptible to projections, enactments, and retraumatization.

Consultations offer an opportunity to develop competency with this unique population by increasing your knowledge on cults and undue influence, identifying and navigating ethical questions, exploring clinical approaches, and getting feedback on specific cases.

Individual case consultations are $200 for 50 minutes or $280 for 90 minutes. A group consultation can be arranged for up to 4 professionals, with the cost divided amongst participants. If you are a pre-licensed mental health professional, you will need to have a separate clinical supervisor overseeing your hours towards licensure.
